Buckeye Trading Grounds returns to Coshocton
Local flea market and live music event seeks vendors for June weekends
Although last summer didn’t reach the participation David Martin had hoped for, he is opening Buckeye Trading Grounds for another season of flea market and live music fun. Flyers will soon pop up around town to remind people of the event that happens every weekend.
“I started my promotion in February, and I’m about to ramp it up to a higher level for the next few weeks,” Martin said.
However, if he doesn’t get enough vendors, the weekly flea market will have to be canceled.
The flea market is located at 1148B Walnut St. in Coshocton and will be held every weekend starting in June. The hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Vendors selling all types of items are welcome, and food trucks will be available.
Vendors need to provide their own tents and tables. Spots cannot be reserved and are on a first come, first served basis. The cost to set up is $35, and reservations can be made on the website.
Martin said he wanted to create a local flea market in Coshocton to give people a place to buy, sell and trade.
