From the moon to misplaced mail, travel still amazes
James A. Hughes
James Albert Hughes, 67, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Roscoe Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation in Coshocton. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on September 21, 1958, to the late Albert and Florence (Poland) Hughes.
James graduated from River View High School and worked for many years at Hopewell Industries and Spitler’s Restaurant. He enjoyed talking to people and doing puzzles.
James is survived by his siblings Kenneth Duff, Carol (Greg) Nommay, Ralph (Margaret) Hughes, and Babette Carter, and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Duff, and sister-in-law Kathy Duff.
Per James’ wishes there will be no services at this time, and a cremation will take place. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
