Gerald “Jerry” Graber, age 78, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2205. He was born March 5, 1947, to Glenn and Vivian Graber. Jerry owned and operated Graber Service, repairing heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and appliances. He provided reliable service to many in Hartville and the surrounding areas working until his recent illness.
Jerry was a man of few words with a big heart. He often just “checked in” with his customers and friends to make sure all was well and was a reliable friend in times of need.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Jerry enjoyed hunting and especially fishing. Each year several trips were made to his cabin in Canada, his “second home”, often with friends and family. Jerry knew the Magpie River like the back of his hand and only certain people learned of his secret fishing hole.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeremy Graber, and brother Tom Graber. He is survived by his daughter Amy (Steve) Brooks, granddaughters Grace Graber and Lauren Brooks and siblings Cynthia Ringer, Twila (Ron) Beahm, Charlotte (John) Slabaugh, Laquita (Larry) Pickard, and Kevin Graber.
