Senior Mother Regina Faye Long-Williams was born on December 25, 1967, in Winchester, Virginia, to Superior Mother G. Lois Long-Parker and Mr. Harold Brown. After a brief illness, Senior Mother Regina departed this life at the age of 57 on November 1, 2025, at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
As a child, Senior Mother Regina, also known by her family as Gina Baby, spent her early years in Winchester, VA, with her grandparents, the late Superior Mother F. Lois Mason and Mr. Russell Mason, while her mother completed her education. Even as a little girl, Gina Baby, was a people person who never met a stranger. She would often sit on her grandparent’s front porch and talk to the passersby as if she had known them for years. Mother Regina was born blessed with a gift of making everyone she met feel special. This gift is something that would be a trademark for her entire life.
At the age of 9, she moved to Bethlehem Township, Ohio, with her mom and her brother, Amos, attending Keene Elementary, Riverview Jr. High School and graduated from River View High School in 1987. After graduating high school, she took business courses at Ohio State University, completed her certification in medical transcription, and gained significant work-related experience from her various places of employment. Mother Regina was a very diligent worker. She worked hard in her personal and professional life, and she worked equally as hard for the Lord. Anyone who knew her knew that she never just did the bare minimum. She was going to do it right, or she was not going to do it at all.
On July 22, 2006, Sr. Mother Regina married Advanced Presiding Elder Michael Williams and relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In addition to her love and devotion for God and HIS people, Mother Regina was a family-oriented person. She was fiercely protective of those she loved, yet an exceptionally warm soul who had a gift for making everyone feel loved. Although she did not have children of her own, she was a mother in every sense of the word to many, especially her godchildren. Connecting with people and making them feel special was truly her “gift” from God and she shared that gift unselfishly. Mother Regina left each person with whom she encountered with an impression that was long-lasting.
Finally, it goes without saying that she lived a full life and enjoyed every moment of it. She had several hobbies including cruising with her family, friends, and the “amazing 6”. She enjoyed traveling so much that she became the principal owner of “R & R Travel”, her personal travel business. She loved collecting purses, jewelry, shoes, and clothes. She believed in taking advantage of opportunities and not wasting time. Senior Mother Regina Long-Williams was truly a remarkable human being. She set examples that all of us could live by. She loved GOD, her husband, her family, and friends and, she gave from the heart.Senior Mother Regina leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Advanced Presiding Elder R. Michael Williams, to whom she was married for 19 years; daughter through marriage, Mayani Williams-Glenn, her mother, Superior Mother G.
