Richard D. Fry
Richard D. “Dick” Fry, 90, of Coshocton passed away on Monday August 11, 2025, at Lafayette Pointe in West Lafayette, Ohio.
Dick was born in Walhonding, Ohio on July 23, 1935, to the late Lester R. and Opal P. (Fox) Fry.
He was a truck driver throughout his life mainly for Clow and Stone Container.
He was a member of the Conesville Wesleyan Church, Coshocton Moose Lodge, loved hunting, spending time outdoors, especially playing golf with family and friends.
Dick was married to Joyce M. Fry for forty-five years who precedes him in death.
Dick is survived by his wife Nora M. Fry of West Lafayette; two children Monte D. (Jennifer) Fry of Dresden and Dina R. (Jim) Hodnichak of Marysville, Ohio; step children Paula (Jeff) Rowlands, Jan Greiner, Luke (Sheri) Elder, Linda (Jim) McConnell and Mary Ellen (Dick) McCune; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several step grand and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and wife Joyce, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, stepchildren Robert, Scott, and Curtis Elder.
Friends were able to call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday August 15, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM where funeral services were held at 5:00 PM. Pastor Donnis Meek officiated.
A cremation took place after the funeral services and burial of his cremated remains will be held at a later date in Frazyesburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Ohio Hospice; envelopes are available at the funeral home.
