Marlene (Johnson) Kanuckel
BRINKHAVEN- Marlene (Johnson) Kanuckel, 90, died Monday, September 1, 2025, at Danbury of Millersburg.
She was born August 21, 1935, in Coshocton Co. to the late James and Lucile (Holdsworth) Johnson. She married Howard Franklin Kanuckel January 15, 1955, who preceded her in death June 5, 2001. She worked as a home health aide for many years.
Marlene was very active in her younger years. She enjoyed flying, hot air balloon rides, white water rafting, roller skating, bowling, softball, and swimming. She also loved her many cats.
She is survived by three sons, Lonnie (Deborah) Kanuckel of Tiverton, Leslie (Karen) Kanuckel of Sunrise Beach, MO, and Lyndon Kanuckel of Tiverton; her daughter, Marcella (Marvin) Miller of Englewood, FL; seven grandsons, Brant (Tessa) Kanuckel, Dustin Kanuckel, Kurt (Erin) Kanuckel, Greg (Amber) Kanuckel, Chris Jones, Lance (Stefanie Tanner) Jones, and Chase Miller; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2025, at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Her grandson Brant Kanuckel officiated. Burial followed at Darling Run Cemetery.
