Marjorie Ann Wright, 88, of Coshocton passed away at Altercare of Coshocton on Thursday September 25, 2025.

Marjorie was born in Chili, Ohio on October 7, 1936, to the late Jacob and Mellanie (Lower) Mathias. Marjorie attended business school for one year and was in the real estate business for thirty-five years. She was very active in the Coshocton Genealogical Society, First Family of Ohio, Ohio Genealogical Society, American Legion #65, VFW #1330, Eagles Lodge #761, loved old country music and singing. Marjorie loved spending time at Kids America with the Silver Sneakers where she walked her way into the 1,000-mile club. On July 4, 1966, Marjorie married the love of her life, Elmer R. Wright who passed away on November 29, 2022.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter Vickie R. (Steven) Bryan of Coshocton; grandchildren Billie Jo Bryan, Craig, and Michael Bryan; siblings Jon (Dixie) Mathias of West Lafayette and Vernon (Leota “Susie”) Mathias of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Myron, Adrian and Larry Mathias and Marilyn Underwood. Friends were able to call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services began at 1:00 PM. Pastor Neal Dearyan officiated. Interment followed in South Lawn Cemetery.
