Lesley J. Denig
Lesley Joyceann “Joyce” Denig, 90, Coshocton, passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026.
Joyce was born in Coshocton on April 14, 1935, to the late Leslie M. and Orlena M. (Dodd) Hedge. She graduated from Coshocton High School in the class of 1952, worked at Coshocton County Regional Medical Center as a medical records clerk for fifteen years and retired from Highlands County Health Department in Sebring, Florida in 2004. Joyce loved to travel, especially cruises, she traveled to twenty-nine states and fourteen foreign countries. She also enjoyed telling jokes, crocheting, reading books and taking walks.
Joyce is survived by her children Sandra “Sandy” Hardesty of West Lafayette, Debra R. Lee of Coshocton and Brad A. Rust of Coshocton; grandchildren Dane (Lisa) Hardesty, Kyle Hardesty, Mandy (Robbie) Walker, Dana (Steve) Roberts, Keith Krebs II, Kimberly (Lisa) Krebs, Ashley Rust, Tyler Rust, Destiney (Paul) Rust and Brady (Gracee) Rust; granddaughter in law Wendy Rust; special Florida friend Dale W. Pfeiffer; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Earl E. Rust; second husband Edward J. Denig Jr; son Carl “Buddy” Rust; grandson Jeff Rust; sister Rose Walters and brother-in-law Jerry Walters.Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday February 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Steve Young officiating. Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
