Larry Edwin Miskimens, age 84, of Coshocton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was born in Coshocton on January 7, 1941, to the late Charles and Charlotte (Norris) Miskimens. 

He was a 1958 graduate of Coshocton High School and worked as a Deputy for the Coshocton Sheriff’s Department in the 1970s and AK Steel for 37 years before retiring. 

On July 20, 1974, he married Roberta “Robbie” (Strasser) Miskimens. Together, they were happily married for 48 years before her passing on May 15, 2023. 

Larry woke up every morning and read his Bible before starting his day and recited his favorite passage, "Lord let your will be done today." He attended the Word Worship Center for several years and currently attends the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle. Larry was a self-proclaimed Coshocton County history buff; he enjoyed tinkering with cars and staying active outdoors. He was an avid Ham Radio specialist and assisted the Ham Radio Club at Dresden Elementary. He enjoyed building model airplanes, was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and never met a stranger. 

He will be deeply missed by his loving children, Wendy Miskimens Wright of Coshocton, Bradley (Rebecca) Miskimens of Dania Beach, FL, Jessica (Seth) Latham of Coshocton, and Jaala (Drew) Miskimens-Pierce of Adams Mills. Grandchildren, Hannah, Jordan, Leah, Rebekah, Dylan, Lane, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Abraham, and Zephaniah; 21great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; brother, Stephen Miskimens of Pensacola Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews. 

Along with his parents and wife, Larry is preceded in death by his two infant sons, Jeremy, Seth, and grandson, Christopher St. Clair. 

Calling hours was held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral followed at the funeral home at 1:00 pm. John Strasser and Nick Johnson officiated. Burial was held at Roscoe Cemetery. An online memorial can be viewed at www.given-dawson-paisleyfh.com.
