  Kathy Karr, 77, of Coshocton passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at her home. She was born on February 23, 1948, in Coshocton, to the late Wayne and Hazel (Pepper) Zimmerman.

She was a high school graduate and following high school she worked at Bakerville Garage and later worked as a supervision at IPS. On August 6, 1972, she married Charles "Ward" Karr, who passed in 2017. In the slow times, she enjoyed sitting on her front porch with family and friends and watching the farm go about its daily routine. She enjoyed mowing her own grass and was not interested in giving it up as the years passed on. She loved her cats dearly and looked forward to her games. She was a long-time member of the Coshocton County Farm Bureau and the Keene Hill Grange and attended Keene United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Rich) Moden and Jeff (Kelly) Karr; grandchildren, Trevor (Kacee) Moden, Dalton (Kesha) Moden, Konnor (Destiny) Moden, Bradley (Jeslin) Karr, Brianna, Brandon and Braylon "Ward" Karr; great grandchildren, Adalyn, Raylin, and Rylee Moden and Bryar Karr and siblings, Fred (Nancy) Zimmerman, Nancy Lahmers and Mary (Steve) Mullett. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Vicky Sue Zimmerman.

Calling hours were held at the Keene United Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service began at 1pm at the church. Pastor Neal Dearyan officiated. Burial followed at the Keene United Methodist Cemetery. An online memorial can be viewed at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
