John Ellsworth Moore
NORMAN, OK- John Ellsworth Moore, 93, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, at the Norman Oklahoma Veterans Center. He was born May 9, 1932, in Warsaw to the late William McKinley and Anna Leola (Elder) Moore. He was a 1950 graduate of Warsaw High School. He married Nancy Carol (Leach) Moore on Sept. 15, 1957, who preceded him in death July 11, 2006.
John was an employee of MFM Building Products in Coshocton. He was a long-time member of the Coshocton Church of Christ, and a long-time fan of the Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by a son, Sam (Sandy) Moore; a granddaughter, Leslie (Kelly) Swartz; and a grandson, Kyle (Alyx) Moore, all of Edmond, OK; and two great-granddaughters, Merritt Moore and Kynzi Swartz.In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, infant John William Moore, and Jimmy Neil Moore.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2025 at the Coshocton Church of Christ, 1800 Chestnut St. Coshocton, OH 43812, with Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw, with military rites performed by the Coshocton Co. Joint Veterans Council Honor Guard.
