James (Jim) E. Wilson
James (Jim) E. Wilson, age 86 of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Altercare Coshocton. He was born on June 4, 1939 in Coshocton, OH to Francis Wilson and Sarah McCoy/Davis. Jim graduated from Roscoe High School, class of 1957. In addition to farming in his early years, Jim worked in the coal fields, operated a printing press at Shaw Barton, owner of West End Grocery and Warsaw Country Market and a staff member in the Leads Program in Newark, OH. Jim enjoyed riding his electric bike, reminiscing about past River View High School sports teams and seeing all his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two sons, Gregory (Peggy Sue) Wilson of Coshocton and Jeffrey (Deborah) Wilson of Dublin; 9 grandchildren (Misty Boyce, Tyler (Sarah) Wilson, Justin Wilson, Courtney (Bo) Ross, Devon (Ryan) Alu, Aubrey (Kyle) Rawson, Mackenzie Wilson, Jordyn Wilson (Kyle Fedewa), and Zachary Wilson); 12 great grandchildren (Joshua and Ashlynn Boyce; Jeremy and Dylan Wilson; Camden, Brooks, Tucker, and Calder Ross; Wesley and Carter Alu; Rhiannon and Winslow Rawson); 3 great, great grandchildren (Raelynn, Layla, and Aliya Boyce). Along with his parents, Jim is preceded in death by two sisters, Myrna Walker and Lina McKnight. Jim choose to have his earthly body donated to The Ohio State University (OSU) Medical College for medical research. 13 of Jims children/grandchildren/spouses graduated from OSU. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
