Emily Jean Stout, age 85, of Coshocton, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was born on February 22, 1940, in Coshocton County to the late Sylvia and Marie (Uher) VanDusen.She was a 1958 graduate of Coshocton High School and worked at Walmart in the Fabric Department for over 14 years. On July 4, 2014, Emily married Raymond Stout, who survives her.Emily was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Coshocton. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, reading, going out to eat with family and friends, and traveling to the beach and Amish Country. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family.Along with her husband, Raymond, she is survived by her daughter, Marie (Bill) Gross of Coshocton; step-daughters, Paula (Scott) Shaw of Bluffton, Susie (Gene Hemminger) Stout of Coshocton, and Carolyn (Derek) Straiton of Pataskala; grandchildren, Mandy (Scott) Hayes of Coshocton and Matthew (Nikke) Courtright of Coshocton; great-grandchildren, Allison, Brice, Addison, Paisley, Christopher, Alexander, and Kirsten; several great-great-grandchildren, along with many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.Emily was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Mike Jones, and her brother, Wayne VanDusen.Calling hours were held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
