Ellen Tatten
Ellen Tatten, 96, of Coshocton, and formerly of Las Vegas, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was born on February 1, 1929, in Coshocton to the late Blain and Estella (Addy) Whyde. On June 28, 1947, she married, John Tatten who passed in 2013. She worked for the Coshocton City Schools cafeteria and later was a member of the School Employee Retirement System. She was a lifetime member of the Park United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling. Ellen is survived by her children, Tom (Glady) Tatten of Nevada, and Sue (Larry) Broadwater of Coshocton; grandchildren, Tom (Allison) Broadwater, Brian (Alyssa) Broadwater, Scott (Tasha) Broadwater, Kyle (Bobbie) Lawrence, Manuelito Molion and Mary Ocanada; great grandchildren, Naylee and Weston Broadwater. Along with her husband she is preceded in death by her siblings, George, Don, Jim, Tom, and Reece Whyde, Florence Amoore, and Alma Johnson. Calling hours were held at The Miller Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 12-1pm. The funeral service began at 1pm. Rev. Philip Hunt officiated. Burial followed at Frazeysburg Cemetery.
