Coleen E. Fox
Coleen E. Fox, 76, of Newark, died Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital. She was born January 14, 1949, to the late Guy and Janet (Hamilton) Lowery. Coleen began working in 1972 at DCSC then worked at Newark Air Force Base as an accountant and later retired from DFAS as an accountant. Coleen was an avid reader especially of Louis L’Amour books, she enjoyed listening to music on her record player and cheering on the Buckeyes.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles; children, Bobby Jr. (Rebecca) and Marcella “Mickey” Starkey; grandchildren, Leighton (Taylor), Lauren, Lilly (Josh), Briana, Jocelyn, and Nevaeh; great grandchildren, Nova and Carter; siblings, Jevene, Nancy, Dennis, Tom, and Bruce Lowery.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Coleen to the American Heart Association.
Visitation was held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 11-1 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark where the funeral service followed visitation at 1:00 pm.
