Billie Jo (Bennett) Gross

Billie Gross

Billie Jo (Bennett) Gross, 78, of Coshocton passed away on October 25, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 16, 1947, in Coshocton to the late Lloyd Earl and Mildred Quintilla (Gill) Bennett. She spent many years working at JII Promotions and Pretty Products. Later, she and her husband, Mike, proudly owned and operated Simple Signs for 15 years. She handled the books with care and was the friendly face that met with all their customers. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved nothing more than spending quiet afternoons on the porch, watching the birds and taking in the simple beauty of life. More than anything, she cherished her children and grandchildren and was endlessly proud of all they had accomplished. Her love for the Lord was at the heart of who she was, and she shared that faith with her family through her words and example. She was a devoted member of the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene, where her faith and kindness touched many lives.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mike Gross; children, Christine (Tom) Myers, Patty (Donis) Williams and Amy (Bill) McClister; grandchildren, Kelley (Elijah) Lee, Michael (Carman) Myers, Bethany Myers, Zachery Williams, Abbey (Chris) Bechtol, Brady McClister and Kaelyn McClister; six great grandchildren; siblings, Robert “Bud” (Lynetta) Bennett and David Bennett as well as close friend, Rick Williamson and her special Pastor Amy Ward Mathias.
