They’re Coming to Take Me Away
Susan Qualls
Suzanne Parlett Hildreth Qualls, 86, of Central Point, Oregon passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Karl Qualls; daughter, Anita Hildreth Thomson; son, Scott Hildreth; step daughter, Laurie Koger; sister, Judith ParlettBertz; 3 grandchildren, Kyle Thomson, Malissa Hildreth and Dylan Koger; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews spanning from the east to the west coast.
Suzanne is predeceased by her parents; Myron and Helen Parlett of Cadiz, OH; brothers, Richard C. Foster, and William Parlett (Texas); sisters Frances Sickle (Cadiz, OH) and Virginia Schoor (Texas); her son Gregory Hildreth, (Texas); and grandson Devin Koger.
Suzanne graduated from Cadiz High School in 1956 and went on to receive her RN degree from Brookhaven Nursing College in Texas in 1997. She worked as a “Nurse On Call” for several clinics, hospitals, and doctors in the Medford, Oregon area. Suzanne was a successful entrepreneur who owned and operated a newspaper distribution center in Ventura, California; opened her own bakery in Oregon; and many other endeavors. She was an avid gardener, seamstress and cook who loved planting and cultivating the vegetables and flowers in her garden as well as designing and making her own clothes, wedding dresses and beautiful quilts.
Suzanne will be missed by all of her friends and family. Rest in peace Suzanne.
