Mary A. Ferreira
Mary Ann Ferreira, 80, of Cadiz, Ohio, passed away on January 4, 2026, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on February 11, 1945, in East Cadiz, Ohio to the late Daniel and Martha E. “Betty” Krankovich.
Mary Ann was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, especially planting and tending to her roses. She was a General Hospital fanatic always watching the show. She enjoyed traveling, especially visiting her family in Columbus. She loved her pets, most recently enjoying the company of her cat, Flash. She was an avid reader. Most of all, she adored being “Nan” to her four grandchildren, spending time with them and attending their activities was her favorite thing to do!
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Manuel Ferreira; brothers, Bill Krankovich, Frank Krankovich, and Dan Krankovich; sisters, Rose Krankovich, Donna Volan, Linda Berard and Martha Gatts
She is survived by her daughters, Angie (John McIntyre) Ferreira-Evans and Jeanie (Brent) Cunningham; grandchildren, Tyler Evans, Mackenzie (Josh) Ferguson, Anthony Cunningham and Jacob Cunningham; sister, Kay Martin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per her wishes, cremation will take place. A private service will take place at the convenience of the family.
