Kenneth M. Beck
On September 14, 2025, in the early morning hours, Kenneth Merle Beck peacefully passed away. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra Lee Beck.
His strong work ethic and unyielding honesty was respected by all that came in contact with him. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend. Ken was a man whose handshake spoke volumes. Even towards the end as his strength was failing, he always had enough to raise his hand for a handshake.
Born on October 26, 1944, and married on July 2, 1971, Ken worked in several professions including railroad engineer, automobile mechanic, and semi-truck driver. In his spare time he loved to tinker on a multitude of projects such as rebuilding engines, refurbishing fiberglass boats, remodeling homes, and repairing electronics. His garage was his home away from home.
In addition to Sandra, he leaves to cherish his memory: sons and their wives, Kenneth Jr., Brian and Rona, John and Nicole; grandchildren: Killian, Connor, Jordan, and Khloe, as well as his half-sisters Robin Carns and Susan Torr.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers John and Harold Beck.
Friends and family were received on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 E. Market St., Cadiz. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery in Jewett.
