Katherine Marie Cusick, 76, of Cadiz, Ohio passed away on October 24, 2025, at Trinity Medical Center West following a brief illness with her family by her side. She was born on September 2, 1949, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late John B. and Ilene Dunlap.

Kathy worked as a healthcare aide for many years. In her later years, she volunteered at the Harrison County Republican Center. Kathy loved spending time with her family. She loved catching up and staying in touch with her friends and family on Facebook.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Ilene McMannis Dunlap, her father, John B. Dunlap; her son, Donald Wayne “Donnie” Cusick; her grandson, John Walter Smith; and her sisters, Bonnie Stewart and Joyce Maxwell.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Michelle (Clay) Smith and Breanna Nicole (Ronald) Hinerman; daughter-in-law, Bobbi Jo (Cusick) Brooks; grandkids, Cylene (Paden) Wood, Brooke Smith, Dalton (Courtney) McAfee, Ronald Hinerman and Hailee Hinerman; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Brydon, Cyden and Paxton; sister, Phyllis (Art) Best; brother, Woodie Dunlap; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Fairview Gardens Cemetery, Jewett.
