Doreen L. Tonkovich
Doreen L. Tonkovich, 68 of Adena, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded
by family on Tuesday November 25, 2025. She was the daughter of the late,
Daniel and Janet Tonkovich and Granddaughter of the late Katie
Tonkovich. After courageously battling with Alzheimer’s, she was
surrounded by her loving family when she left us. She is survived by her Sister
Danielle (Jim) Sobleski, Stepsister Rhonda (Kenny) Myers, Nieces, Tracy (Josh)
Zido, Melanie Sobleski, Great Nephews Evan and Max Zido, and Great Niece, Alexa
Zido.
Doreen had an adoration of walking
outdoors. She loved taking in the scenery, wildlife sunshine and meeting
friendly faces in her travels. Her cats, Haley and Angel were her comfort
when needed. Though she never had any children, her nieces, Tracy and
Melanie, were her pride and joy. She later got to enjoy her great nephews
and niece be born. Doreen loved to attend their sporting events and
support them in any way that she knew how. She also loved angels and now Heaven
has gained another.
Per Doreen’s wishes, there will be no
