Charles Raymond Conrad
Charles Raymond Conrad, age 86 of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born December 24, 1939, in Cadiz, Ohio the son of the late Raymond and Bernadine (Todd) Conrad.
Charles retired from Kroger after 34 years of service.
He was a member of the US Army and served in Europe.
Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bonnie (Thompson) Conrad, daughter, Carla (Ken) Mangle; son, Troy (Carrie) Conrad; grandchildren; Natasha Mangle, Kenny Mangle, Caleb Mangle, Kate (Keith) Joki, Kyle (Alana) Conrad, Kelsey (Jon) Hoskins, Kaden Conrad; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Bartrug; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Norman Conrad; and sister, Judy Hayes.
Funeral service were held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11 am, at Orrville C & MA Church, 300 S. Walnut St., Orrville, OH 44667 with Pastor Paul Simonson officiating.
Calling hours were from 9 to 11 am before the service at the church.
His final place of rest will be New Rumley Methodist Cemetery in New Rumley, Ohio.
