Robert Howard “Bob” Babcock, age 72, of Coshocton, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on February 4, 1953, in Coshocton, to the late Robert and Rose (Drushel) Babcock.

He was a 1972 graduate of River View High School and was a skilled Machinist, Electrician and Mechanic.

Bob attended New Life Ministries and was known to many as “Doctor Chevy.” He enjoyed working on small block Chevy’s and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He was a great Father and an even better Mechanic and Electrician.

He is survived by his three sons, Jason Babcock, Justin (Stephanie) Babcock and Bobby Babcock, all of Coshocton, his six grandchildren, Kayla (Braxton) Moore, Sofia Babcock, Savannah Babcock, Addison Babcock, Tate Babcock and Ben Swartz; siblings, Tom (Ingrid) Babcock, Joe (Ann) Babcock, Mary (Jim) Lewis and Scott Babcock; along with several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike and Tim Babcock and Uncle, Fred Babcock.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm with Steve Young officiating.
