If you have ever wanted to learn more about wolves, a fundraiser supporting Toby’s Pack: K-9 Rehab and Rehoming Center is for you. The event titled Wolves: Fact vs. Myth will be held from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at the Richard Downing Airport.

“At Toby’s Pack we believe education changes everything — for wolves, for dogs and for the people who love them,” said Becky Frame, owner of Toby’s Pack.

Wolves are often misunderstood, and Rachel Lauren, with the Ohio Canid Center, will present the information.

Attendees will learn about pack dynamics, diet, habitat and the critical role wolves play in healthy ecosystems. Attendees also will get hands-on experience with real pelts, bones and paw prints and will get to meet a live wolf — no petting allowed.

There also will be raffle tickets available for a chance to win a private photo session with a wolf. The cost of these raffle tickets is $5. There also will be raffle baskets available at the event. Some baskets are valued at more than $100.

Every purchase will help support the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs that deserve a second chance.

Seating is limited for this event. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and the link can be found on the Facebook page — Toby’s Pack: K9 Rehab & Rehoming Center. Tickets are $10 per person, with those under age 2 admitted free.
