Warsaw Lions Club to present annual show
Beloved community tradition returns Nov. 22–23 at River View High School, featuring local talent, music, comedy, and fundraising for River View Music Boosters.
The 66th annual Warsaw Lions Club Show will be held Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. at River View High School.
“Warsaw Lions on Broadway” is the show’s title this year and was chosen because Broadway has a broad range of genres, so there will be music everyone can enjoy, said Audrey Phillips, executive producer of the show.
Phillips said around 60 people are involved in the show from the band and chorus members to the featured talent, comedy crew, media managers, music director, backstage crew, and lights and sound people.
The River View Music Boosters will have a concession stand prior to each show that will serve sandwiches, chicken and noodles, and beverages. A bake sale and 50/50 drawing also will be held for both shows.
Reserve tickets are on sale by calling 740-824-5048 or by using the QR code found on the Facebook page. General admission will be available at the door.
