Coshocton 4-H Fun Fest set for April 12
Coshocton County Fairgrounds hosts event with projects, activities, and prizes
The 4-H Fun Fest will be Sunday, April 12 from 2-4 p.m. in the junior fair barn at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds.
This is a community wide event open to anyone that wants to come and explore what 4-H has to offer. Many different projects will be on display by members that have been to the state fair with their projects last year.
Jenny Strickler, 4-H youth educator, said she would love for any 4-H member to come and set up a table to share what they know about 4-H and show their project. There will be robots again this year that the kids can play with, activities for Cloverbud age kids, including a coloring contest, archery with instructors, and a petting zoo to check out different animals. Also, refreshments are provided including popcorn, hot dogs and ice cream for everyone that comes through.
Don't forget to get your passport. Make sure to have it stamped at different locations throughout the grounds and enter it for prizes at the end of the day. Cloverbud age members can participate, and 4-H project members are 8 and in the third grade as of Jan. 1, 2026.
Cloverbud age members can participate in the coloring contest by bringing their completed photo to the event. Pictures must arrive by 1:30 p.m. and will be judged throughout the day at fun fest.
"The public doesn't always understand that there are hundreds of projects available and the vastness of this. It will be a lot of fun," Strickler said.
