Coshocton native promotes women's health care
Betty Gwinn-Hall, CNP, highlights local resources for overcoming health care barriers
The Coshocton Public Health District's medical provider informational spotlight continues with Betty Gwinn-Hall, CNP. She is with GMG Urogynecology in Coshocton, and her specialty is urogynecology. Her contact information is 740-454-5678.
"I was born and raised in Coshocton, and I enjoy providing health care in my hometown," Gwinn-Hall said.
She recommends adults get their annual pelvic and breast exams and not let barriers like transportation get in their way.
"Transportation is commonly an issue, and I want residents to know that there are local options to help you get to your appointments," Gwinn-Hall said.
She encourages people to get established with a primary care provider/women's health provider and to remember advanced age is not a reason to just live with certain health issues.
"Urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary frequency — these can be successfully treated," Gwinn-Hall said.
