Verna J. Hochstetler
Verna J. (Kline) Hochstetler, 91, of Berlin, Ohio, passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 22, 2026, after a short period of declining health.
She was born on September 14, 1934, to the late Jacob E. and Anna (Hershberger) Kline. On October 15, 1959, she married Eli M. Hochstetler who survives.
Verna was a homemaker and a member of the Amish Church.
In addition to her husband Eli she is survived by her children, Ivan (Mary) Hochstetler of the home, Wayne (Lorene) Hochstetler of Walnut Creek, Anna (Nathan) Mast of Walnut Creek, Mark (Cynthia) Hochstetler of Walnut Creek, David (Sherree) Hochstetler of Walnut Creek and Timothy (Crystal) Hochstetler of Berlin; 31 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Eli, Alvin, and Raymond; and two sisters, Clara and Sarah.
Funeral services will be held at the home, 4305 CR 168, Millersburg, on Wednesday, February 25, at 9:00 a.m. Bishop David Wengerd officiating. Burial will follow in the Bunker Hill Cemetery. Friends can call at the home after 2 p.m. on Monday and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
