Norma Chapman

Norma Jo Chapman, age 97, of Killbuck, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at her home with family at her side. 

Norma was born October 23, 1928, in Bristol, West Virginia, and was the daughter of Claude S. and Emza Dicie (Robison) Hill. On July 26, 1947, she married Don Chapman, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2006. 

Norma was a 1947 graduate of Killbuck High School. She worked at Rice Chadwick Rubber Company in Killbuck and later retired from Addressograph Multigraph in Holmesville. She was a member of the Killbuck Methodist Church. Norma enjoyed quilting, sewing, and baking. She loved to travel and she loved shopping.

She is survived by three children and their spouses: Peggy Lee (Dave) Weaver of Wooster, Kathy (Henry) Redmond of Millersburg and Ricky (Linda) Chapman of Centerburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Duke Marmet, Kim Stracke, Karen Marmet Hood, Brian Hoover, Becky Cella, Lucas Chapman and Brad Chapman; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Doris Orr of Wooster; and a sister-in-law, Betty Mosher of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; a daughter, Karen Leanna Chapman; and siblings: William Hill, Betty Conn, and Ruth Landon.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 12 at the Killbuck Methodist Church with Pastor Kenneth Smailes officiating. Burial will take place at Killbuck Cemetery. Friends are able to call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
