Lovina Hershberger

Lovina E. (Troyer) Hershberger, 94, of Charm, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

She was born on September 5, 1931, to the late Eli and Mattie (Schlabach) Troyer. On November 6, 1951, she married John E. Hershberger who preceded her in death on May 16, 2018.

Lovina was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She is survived by her children, Roy (Ada) Hershberger of the home, Sara Ann (Eli) Miller of Millersburg, Eli (Clara) Hershberger of Baltic, Vernon (Esther) Hershberger of Sugarcreek, Mary (Daniel) Raber of Sugarcreek; 34 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 112 great-grandchildren; 19 step-great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary (late Andy) Raber of Millersburg.

In addition to her parents and her husband John, she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Hershberger; son-in-law, Roy Yoder; grandson, Allen Yoder; siblings, Levi, Atlee, and Ida; and brother-in-law, Andy Raber.

Funeral services were held at the home, 3616 CR 70, Sugarcreek, on Saturday, December 6, at 9:00 a.m. Bishop Reuben A. Troyer officiated. Burial followed in the Miller Cemetery. Friends were able to call at the home after 5 p.m. on Thursday and any time on Friday.
