Larry Treisch

Lawrence E. “Larry” Treisch, age 76, of Walnut Creek, Ohio and formerly of Galion passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025. 

Born February 13, 1949, in Galion, he was the son of the late Ralph and Bessie (Grogg) Treisch. He married Deborah (Myers) Treisch on April 19, 1997, and she survives. 

Larry worked for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad for ten years and then drove semis (owning two Kenworths) hauling livestock. He owned the SOHIO gas station on the corner of Union and Harding Way, and the Certified station on East Street, Charles Street Laundry for 18 years, and Rainbow Motel for 14 years. Larry owned Deb’s Cedar cabins, worked at Low Country Renovations in South Carolina and retired from Yoder Hardware in Walnut Creek.

In addition to his wife Deborah, he is survived by daughter; Vicky (Bob Neidermier) Durnwald of Mansfield; grandchildren Kortney (Zach) Hurst of Bucyrus and Tanner Stiener of Shelby; stepdaughters, Sarina (John) Atwell of Cardington and Stephannie (Chris) Stancil of Charleston, South Carolina; step grandchildren, Brandon (Hayley) Atwell and Clayton and Jace Stancil and step great-grandchildren Sterling and Juni Atwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard Treisch.

The family received friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio, 44833, where funeral services followed at 1:00 p.m. Burial was in Blooming Grove Cemetery.
