John E. Miller
John E. Miller, 76, of Holmesville, OH, passed away at the Ohio's Hospice Inpatient Unit in Wooster on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, due to complications from a heart attack and a lengthy period of Parkinson's disease.
He was born on July 10, 1949, to the late Eli D. and Mattie (Weaver) Miller. On May 10, 1978, he married Freda Miller who survives.
John was a member of the Old Order Amish Church where he served as a minister since April 16, 1996.
In addition to his wife, Freda, he is survived by his five sons and three daughters; Joseph (Martha) Miller of Cardwell, MT, Naomi (Aden) Miller of Holmesville, David (Myrna) Miller of Canestota, NY, Regina (Allen) Miller of Millersburg, John Mark (Marilyn) Miller of the home, Aaron Miller of the home, Lori (Wesley) Burkholder of Shreve and Andrew Miller of the home; 31 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, David (Arie) Miller of Millersburg, Nora (Aden) Kurtz of Fredericksburg, Erma (David) Troyer of Berlin and Allen (Betty Ann) Miller of Holmesville; and mother-in-law, Ada (late John M.) Miller of Ossineke, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law.
Funeral services were held at the home, 10088 CR 329, Holmesville, on Thursday, November 27, at 9:00 a.m. Minister Malva Yoder officiated. Burial followed in the Yoder Cemetery. Friends were able to call at the home after 5 p.m. on Tuesday and any time on Wednesday.
