Wanda M. Fisher
Wanda Mae Fisher, age 93, of Coshocton, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026. She was born August 31, 1932, to the late Euell Senior and Helen (Renfrew) Miller in Coshocton, Ohio.She was a 1950 graduate of Roscoe High School. On April 4, 1953, she married James Ott Fisher, who preceded her in death on October 12, 2023.
Wanda was a wonderful homemaker. She loved to bake, especially when it came to Christmas cookies, and was always seen outdoors. She would start her day with yard work, and end it by sitting on the porch, watching the cars go by. She enjoyed attending the fair, volunteering at the Riverview concession stand, visiting Amish country, and taking walks. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan (David) Durben of Coshocton; her grandsons, Cory Durben, Andrew Fisher, and Nathan (Regina) Durben; her great-grandson, Elliot Durben; and her daughter-in-law, Luann Fisher, alongside several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, James Fisher; her brothers, Earl, Warren, Euell Junior, and Danny Miller; and her sisters, Patsy Bernhart and Geraldine Ames.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Wanda’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.An online memorial can be viewed at www.given-dawson-paisleyfh.com
