They’re Coming to Take Me Away
Kathryn Louise Mitchell
Kathryn Louise Mitchell, 86, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg. She was born in Coshocton, OH on October 13, 1938 to the late Carl E. and Clara (Moody) Blair.
Kathryn previously worked for Bates, American Glove Factory, and Pretty Products. She was a member of The Salvation Army, Coshocton Eagle, Moose, and VFW. Kathryn enjoyed watching TV, visiting with friends, going to breakfast, being involved at church, going to her clubs and she loved watching the Cleveland Indians.
Kathryn is survived by brother James “Bob” Blair; granddaughter Major Vicki (Tom) Clark; multiple stepchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and step great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Mitchell Sr.; sisters Freda Brock, Bonnie Blair, and Mary Fortney; brothers Charles “Ed” Blair, Russell Blair and Carl “PZ” Blair.
The family would like to invite everyone attending the services to wear their favorite Cleveland Indians apparel.
Services will be held at The Salvation Army, 219 N 4th St, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 5:00pm with Major Tom Clark and Envoys Gary and Corina Stein officiating.
The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
Memorial contributions can be directed towards The Salvation Army Women’s Home League; envelopes will be available at the services.
