They’re Coming to Take Me Away
Joanne Elizabeth Workman
Joanne Elizabeth Workman, age 72, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025. She was born February 24, 1953, to the late Fred and Catherine (Boyd) Workman in Coshocton, Ohio.
Joanne worked at Shaw Barton and JII for 10 years. Besides being a hard worker, she was incredibly independent, and very intelligent. She was also a dedicated friend, and loved animals and cars, especially her 70s hotrod.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Theresa) Workman of Coshocton, Ohio and her nephew, Jason Workman of Oregon. She is also survived by several cousins, with a special thank you to her cousins Chip (Sara) Copenhaver of Hilliard, Ohio and Kendra Copenhaver of Columbus, and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
Joanne is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ella (Sandles) Millin-Mallory; and her nephew, Tom Millin.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A service followed in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial followed at South Lawn Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made in Joanne’s name to a charity of the donor’s choice.
