Donald Eugene Billman
Donald served in the United States Navy 1959-1963.
Donald was a printer at the Coshocton Tribune for 4 years, Times Recorder for 4 years and The Columbus Dispatch for 32 years. He was a volunteer fireman and Chief for 20 plus years at the South Tuscarawas Volunteer Fire Department.
June 21, 1961, he married Laurella F. Saylor who preceded him in death August 23, 2023.
He is survived by his daughter Angela Pickrell of Coshocton; nieces and nephews; great and great great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings James Lewis Billman Jr., Robert Lee Billman, Beverly Mobley, Patricia Hughes and Ronald Dean Billman.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Rev. Donnis Meek officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. The Coshocton County Veterans Council will be performing military honors. A Firefighter’s Last Call will be held, also. Calling hours will be 5-7 P.M. Thursday, January 23, 2025 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
