River View student wins $2,500 scholarship
Parker Andrews of Coshocton County earns eighth place in Ohio's Electric Cooperatives competition
Parker Andrews, a local student with strong ties to the community, was awarded an eighth-place $2,500 scholarship through Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives Children of Members Scholarship Competition.
Andrews, the son of Vince and Jodi Andrews, was sponsored by Frontier Power and is a senior at River View High School. This scholarship program reflects the commitment of Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives to supporting local students and investing in the future of the communities they serve.
Each year students from cooperative families across the state compete for scholarship awards that help them pursue higher education and career goals. A total of 24 students — each representing one of Ohio’s electric distribution cooperatives — advanced from local competitions to the statewide contest, where $56,100 in scholarships were awarded.
Frontier Power, a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, serves members across Coshocton and parts of six other counties, supporting not only reliable electric service, but also community growth and opportunity.
