GentleBrook opens senior living in Coshocton
The HomeStead of Coshocton offers 58 beds and job opportunities, enhancing community care
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Amy Crown was honored to welcome everyone to The HomeStead of Coshocton ribbon cutting.
“This is a wonderful new addition to our community, committed to compassion, dignity and providing the highest level of care possible,” she said.
GentleBrook’s The HomeStead of Coshocton is a 58-bed, 52,700-square-foot senior living community located at 48241 Genesis Drive in Coshocton. There are 32 assisted living units and 26 secure memory care units. Residents can rely on a 24-hour on-site licensed nurse and a staff of wellness aides.
“Thank you to all those involved in this project,” said James Miller, GentleBrook CEO. “This is a reflection of growth in the community with job opportunities and support nearby for loved ones.”
He also expressed appreciation for Executive Director Tana Fischer.
“She poured years of dedication into this project from the design to the construction, staffing and community relations,” he said.
Fischer prayed for direction about the project and was blessed to see the talent and generosity of the community come together to make it happen.
“We hope you can feel the love poured into every space,” she said. “It’s a beautiful building, and the team in it has a heart for service.”
GentleBrook’s mission is to connect people and community and to provide the highest quality of care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and older adults. They believe all human life is a sacred gift and most fulfilled in community with others. For more information visit www.gentlebrook.org.
