Renowned organist to perform in Coshocton
Dr. Bradley Hunter Welch's free concert set for May 3 at Coshocton Presbyterian Church
On Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m., organist Dr. Bradley Hunter Welch will perform a concert at the Coshocton Presbyterian Church on the Taylor and Body tracker-action organ in the church sanctuary.
The concert is free to attend and made possible through the Joe R Engle Recital Fund. Welch holds a Doctor of Musical Arts, Master of Music and the Artist Diploma from Yale University. He also holds a Bachelor of Music, magna cum laude, from Baylor University.
Welch was named resident organist and holder of the Lay Family Chair by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. He also devotes his attention to a solo concert career and works as artist-in-residence at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas. He has taught at Southern Methodist University and Baylor University.
The Coshocton Presbyterian Church is located at 142 N. Fourth St. in Coshocton. The church is handicapped accessible. Parking is available on the street, in the church parking lot and in adjoining city lots.
