Timothy B. Llewellyn, 63, of New Philadelphia, died March 18, 2010, at Union Hospital, Dover, following an illness of six months.Born August 15, 1946, in Dover, Timothy was a son of Jack E. and Betty Llewellyn. A 1964 graduate of New Philadelphia High School, he served his country as a member of the Ohio Army National Guard before joining his father in the operation of Llewellyns Business Machines on the southeast corner of Five Points, New Philadelphia. His brothers joined the partnership as they graduated from high school, and together they serviced typewriters in many schools throughout the Tuscarawas Valley.Tim was always interested in old things and working on motors. He restored Whizzer Motor Bikes and a 55 Chevy. He tracked down his original Whizzer Motor Bike through word of mouth of previous owners. After it was restored, it was loaned for a year to the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in Columbus as a valuable link in the history of motorcycles. This experience led him to become involved in the restoration and sales of Whizzer Motor Bikes. An avid outdoorsman, Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing and was especially fond of bow hunting. He respected the woods and wildlife and would hike in all the seasons to enjoy the beauty and peace of nature. His stories to his family were often of the sights and sounds of the woods, rather than the animals he hunted.Family was the main focus of Tims life. He was proud that his daughters and wife were teachers. He also liked to hear the family stories and the stories of times past. Tim will be missed by friends from every generation.A member of First United Methodist Church, New Philadelphia, he spent his childhood and early years as an adult as a member of First Baptist Church, New Philadelphia.Surviving are his wife, Marylee Llewellyn; daughters, Jennifer L.
