Clifton Leon Coulson, 88, Piedmont, Ohio, died December 16, 2023, at his home.

He was born in Piedmont on March 6, 1935, a son of the late Clifton Carlos Coulson and Martha Helen Wright Coulson. He was a Protestant by faith. An employee of Cravat Coal Company, he retired from Manpower in New Philadelphia in 1999. He was a former member of the Piedmont VFD and the Coon Club of Harrison County.

Preceding was one son, Timothy Lee Coulson and one brother, John Levi Coulson. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Alice Faye Ourant Coulson; one daughter, Connie (Larry) Patton of St. Clairsville; one son Thomas Leon Coulson of Pa.
