Kenny crowned Cadiz Women’s Golf League champion
League championship highlights strong performances across flights with birdies, chip-ins and an eagle
The Cadiz Women’s Golf League held its 2025 League Championship Sept. 10 and Sept. 17. Marilyn Kenny was crowned league champion and A Flight champion. Tracy Amos finished as A Flight runner-up.
In other divisions, Laura Froehlich won the B Flight championship, with Carol Lepic as runner-up. Sandy Terek claimed the C Flight title, with Pat Roper as runner-up. The league thanked Billie Stanwick for organizing this year’s championship.
On Sept. 10, the Play of the Day was Low Net. Winners were Amos in A Flight, Yuko Atwell in B Flight and Terek in C Flight. Low Putt winners were Roberta Cireddu, Kenny, Lepic and Terek. Kenny recorded an eagle, while Brenda Hartley, Sherry Sapon, Terek and Atwell posted birdies. Kenny, Hartley and Terek also had chip-ins.
On Sept. 17, the Play of the Day was again Low Net. Winners were Kenny in A Flight, Froehlich in B Flight and Terek in C Flight. Low Putt winners were Hartley, Froehlich and Terek. Kenny, Cireddu, Froehlich and Terek each had birdies, while Froehlich and Roper had chip-ins.
