Beth Gibson-Tansey, born on August 15, 1955, to the late Alvin and Wilda (Sadie) Thompson Gibson, died on November 23, 2023 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Beth enjoyed chatting online with her friends, especially with Janet, her dear British friend, and sharing conversations and memories around her patio table with Toledo neighbors. She loved dogs, especially her longtime companion, Dixie. Beth found great satisfaction in the time she worked for the Harrison County Sheriff and Cadiz Police Departments. She was a prolific writer and dreamed of one day being a published author. She was a recipe collector, game player and supporter of many charities.

In addition to her parents, predeceasing her in death was her husband Terry in 2020. Shortly after Terry’s death, she lost her precious Dixie.

Beth is survived by her brothers, Greg (Pam) and Curt (Jenny); her nephews, Marc (Kayla), Dustin (Alex), Aric (Ariel Shea) and Wade (Kelley), as well as great nieces and nephews, Haiden, Cecelia, Trinity, Sam, and Scarlett.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
