Gloria Watt

Gloria Elaine “Glo” Busby Watt, age 74, of Jewett, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, in The Meadows of Cadiz.
Born October 23, 1949, in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Glenn Busby and Dolores Burrows Busby. After graduating from Jewett High School in 1967, Glo started working in the decorating department at the Scio Pottery. She had also worked at Butch’s Meat Market in Scio and for Wood’s Foods in Jewett and Hopedale. Area residents will most fondly remember her for owning and operating Glo’s Good Times Bar and Grill in Jewett from around 1997-2009, where she treated everyone like family. She was a wonderful baker and cook, who could always be talked into making her wonderful hamburger gravy by her son’s friends. She also enjoyed crocheting.
Family meant everything to Glo, and she will be sadly missed by her devoted husband of 51 years, Terry Lee Watt. They were married on October 7, 1972. Also surviving are a daughter Angela (Michael) Dulkoski of Cadiz, a stepson Terry Dean Watt of Uhrichsville, grandchildren Ian (Leanna) Watt, Flether (Areianna Castro) Watt and Megan, Bubby and Olivia Dulkoski, great grandchildren Theodore, Benjamin, Miles and Amaya and a sister Roxanne (Ed) Kovacik of the Cleveland area.
She was preceded in death by her loving son Eric Todd Watt on March 9, 2019, a sister Bonnie Hutchinson and a nephew Jack Edwards.
Private services will be held at Koch Funeral Home, Scio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Special Olympics at www.support.specialolympics.org
