Tuscarawas library to host annual Floral Fest
Floral Fest will feature a plant swap, seed bomb making, button making, a photo room and breakout classes with local speakers
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host its Third Annual Floral Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Main Library. All ages are welcome to attend, and games and activities will be provided in the Children’s Services Department.
Floral Fest will feature a plant swap, seed bomb making, button making, a photo room and breakout classes with local speakers. There also will be games and activities in the Children’s Department for kids.
“This year’s Floral Fest has quite a few new aspects to it,” Children’s Services Manager Mary Smrek said. “We have added some presentations, a competition, and a refreshments room.”
Floral Fest will feature a floral arrangement competition where people can vote on different artistic floral arrangements made of craft materials. The refreshments room will offer attendees a free drink and a baked good. They will choose an item from a menu of two different teas, three types of coffee and three types of lemonade. The event also will feature vendors Healer’s Mark and Cherry Ridge Greenhouse.
For more information or to sign up for this event, visit tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474. The Main Library is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW.
