Village candidates listed for November election

Candidates seeking seats on village councils at the Nov. 4 election have competition in Carrollton, Leesville and Malvern, according to the Carroll County Board of Elections.

Candidates seeking seats on village councils at the Nov. 4 election have competition in Carrollton, Leesville and Malvern, according to the Carroll County Board of Elections.

The contested candidates — with four to be elected in each of the villages — are:

Carrollton — Kevin Butterfield, Wilma Lambert, Travis L. Parker, Brittany Nicole Tangler, Thomas R. White. Leesville — Heather Jo Enos, Carl Palmer, Bruce Palmer, Mikah R. Sullivan.

Malvern — Barbara Burgess, Craig DeLong, Tom Holmes, Marci Hubbard, Michael McCort.

No one filed for council seats in Dellroy and Sherrodsville.

Area villages:

Amsterdam Council — Teresa A. Black, Randall E. Grimes, Michael Keith Gump

Bergholz Council — Theodore J. Balint, Ronald Gower, Ruth Ann Kirkman, Michael J. Smyth

Magnolia Council — Claudia C. Rogers

Minerva Mayor (unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2027) — Mason Boldizar

Minerva Council — Christine M. Coe, Alex Gotschall, Jennifer L. Jordan, Aaron Stoller

Member of Minerva Council (unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2027) — Bob Harris
