Utica Shale Academy helps fulfill holiday wishes
School officials have been gathering wish lists and accepting donations so those in need have gifts underneath the tree Christmas Day
The Utica Shale Academy at Salineville is ensuring that its students have a bright Christmas with a Holiday Wishes project.
School officials have been gathering wish lists and accepting donations so those in need have gifts underneath the tree Christmas Day. Assistant Superintendent Laura Krulik said 29 students will be supported this season, and the response from community members and partners has been great.
“We contacted families to see if they needed help for Christmas and got their kids’ clothing and shoe sizes and wants. We also reached out to community partners and members to donate and they have been very giving,” Krulik said.
She thanked supporters, which include USA staff and administration, B&S Country Carryout, National Association of Royalty Owners, Chase Chickens LLC, PSC Group, the Sebo family, Salineville Assembly of God, Highlandtown Church, West Point Lions Club, Speedy Drilling Company LLC, PACA Partners LLC, Project MKC, Campbell’s Signs and other community friends.
Krulik said parents may retrieve the gifts or the gifts will be delivered. For more information, email Krulik at laura.krulik@uticashaleschool.com.
