Theresa Clark, market director of laboratory services at Trinity Health System, speaks to the Carrollton Rotary Club about the Community Wellness Program.

Theresa Clark, market director of laboratory services at Trinity Health System, was the guest speaker at the Carrollton Rotary Club meeting Oct. 14.

Clark discussed her oversight of laboratory operations at Trinity West, Twin Cities and Trinity St. Clairsville Neighborhood hospitals. Her presentation focused on the Community Wellness Program, which allows individuals to receive a group of blood tests without a physician’s order. The cost is $50 for a comprehensive blood analysis that includes a complete metabolic panel, TSH, lipid panel and CBC.

Additional tests are available for an added fee, including prostate-specific antigen and vitamin D level tests for $20 each, and a hemoglobin A1C test for $15.

These tests can be performed at hospital laboratories or during a special community blood draw scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8, from 7-10 a.m. at the Ashton Event Center at the Carroll County Fairgrounds.

Clark and her team of phlebotomists will perform the blood draws, assisted by members of the Carrollton Rotary Club, who will help with registration, money collection and blood pressure checks.
