The second annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot, a 5K, will be held Thursday, Nov. 27, starting at 9 a.m. at Carrollton High School’s Community Field.

The event is sponsored by the Carrollton girls basketball program. Entry is $10 per person or $25 per family. Strollers and wagons are allowed, and participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving or Christmas costumes.

Prizes will be awarded for best costume and best family costume.
