Six township seats open for Carroll County Fair Board election
Eligible county residents can petition through Oct. 13 to run for three-year terms on the agricultural society board
Seats from six townships for three-year terms each are vacant on the Carroll County Agricultural Society’s Fair Board to be filled at the annual election Saturday, Oct. 18.
The open seats include the townships of Brown, Fox, Washington, Monroe, Rose and East, according to Fair Board Secretary Mary Piatt.
Eligibility includes having a 2025 membership, being a resident of Carroll County, being 18 years of age or older, and being a member in good standing.
Petitions can be obtained now through Monday, Oct. 13, by contacting Secretary Mary Piatt at 330-627-2300 or 330-340-5935. Petitions are to be completed and returned to the secretary by midnight Oct. 13.
